  • All deductions for damages etc. will be taken out of pay.

Driver Responsibilities

Strict No-Phone Use Policy

Drivers are not permitted to use any type of texting or typing tool while driving. This is both company policy and federal law. Any fines incurred are solely the driver's responsibility.

The driver is the leader of each job/truck and must ensure all procedures are followed correctly.

Put your name on all personal tools!

Additional Driver Responsibilities:

  • Get accurate information when collecting payment
  • Any trash or items left in truck may incur disposal fee charged to driver

Damage Prevention & Liability

All damages that result from not following company policies on protecting furniture and walls will be charged to employees on that job. Charges are divided evenly and deducted from paychecks (never more than earned on that job).

All soft furniture must be shrink wrapped
All furniture must be pad wrapped
Furniture with doors/drawers must be secured
All mattresses must be shrink wrapped
All lamps are to be pad wrapped
All entry ways should have a pad down

Critical Safety Rules:

  • A driver is never to back the truck up without a helper behind him
  • A driver is never to get on grass without a signed waiver from property owner
  • Any customer wanting to waive precautions must sign off

Remember to take precaution and care. There is a very good reason why "Better safe than sorry" has become the cliché it is.
